A Memory box consists of items that represent a child’s legacy which will become physical reminders that parents will cherish in the years to come. The majority of our boxes are assembled at our Memory Box Nights in the spring and fall. Additional memory boxes are produced if a facility we assist calls with a need. Dedicated memory boxes are also made at the request of parent(s). A dedicated memory box is one made in memory of a child(ren) and donated to a hospital to help another family. We collect items needed to produce the memory boxes throughout the year. We also produce a smaller memory box currently being used at Quinn Shalz Family Funeral Home and Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral home. These memory boxes are intended for a loss that does not take place at a hospital.
We produce a keepsake box for the hospital bereavement counselor, chaplain, or nurse to provide to a family. The hospital staff assists the family by making footprints, clay molds, and providing the other resources in the memory box. It is the families decision how to use all of the items. Families and hospitals are never charged for our services.
All of our memory boxes are made with love. We also use the following material:
